July 1st, 2026 Payroll Update

Just a quick email to let you know that MoosePay has been updated for July 1st, 2026.

This year there were only three changes to the payroll calculations. According to the Revenue Canada Guide (123rd edition, July 1, 2026):

  • Revision to the tax calculation for British Columbia.
  • Addition of new tax range for PEI for employees with more than $200K in income.
  • Revision to exemption amount for Newfoundland/Labrador.  Set to 15,000 for remainder of year.

Note: All calculation revisions are triggered by the province of employment and the cheque and/or deposit date.
